We are led by a husband and wife vet team and enjoy welcoming you and your pets to the clinic as family! We strive to care for your pets as our own, providing a professional and modern healthcare service. We have recently completed an "Extreme Makeover" Renovation to upgrade our facilities and bring you a true world class facility. Gold Coast Vet Surgery is proud to now be an ASAVA Accredited Hospital of Excellence.          Your Assurance of Our Quality.   Gold Coast Vet Surgery is the only accredited vet hospital on the Gold Coast, and one of only two accredited veterinary hospitals in Queensland.   The Australian Small Animal Veterinary Association (ASAVA) Hospitals of Excellence scheme is a voluntary accreditation that provides for an independent assessment of the standards in veterinary clinics around Australia. To pass accreditation vet clinics need to meet rigorous standards across all aspects of veterinary care, including the hospital facilities, patient care, customer service, health and safety, staff training and even down to cleaning procedures! Being accredited as a Hospital of Excellence gives pet owners the assurance that their pet is being looked after according to “Best Practice” standards in a clinic that has the necessary equipment and skills to provide gold standard patient care. Across Australia, only 38 vet clinics meet these high standards. At Gold Coast vet Surgery we pride ourselves on the high standard of patient care and customer service that we provide day in and day out to the pets of the Gold Coast. Becoming a Hospital of Excellence has been a long term aspiration of Dr Kevin & Dr Fiona Cruickshank, husband and wife owners of Gold Coast Vet Surgery.     Gold Coast Vet Surgery is proudly independent – not being part of a group (chain of Vets) means that you and your pet get to know the team who care for your pet and receive a much more personalised service. We will listen to your needs and, where possible, offer a range of possible solutions. We personalise the treatment to your pet’s needs and will always consider, and discuss with you, the financial and practical implications of any treatment. Quality with Compassion Quality is about excellent professional standards. We aim to provide you and your pets with quality, well considered and compassionate solutions to all health problems and preventative care. Gold Coast Vet Surgery is equipped with modern, quality equipment enabling us to offer a full range of veterinary services for dogs, cats and small pets. We strive to provide first class medical and surgical care to every patient, and pain relief is an utmost priority in every case. Our premises are purpose built as a veterinary hospital with separate dog, cat and isolation wards, as well as a dedicated sterile operating theatre. As part of our commitment to quality care, Gold Coast Vet Surgery only employs experienced and fully qualified vets and nurses, not trainees or students.      Service Personal and individual service is what we are all about. Being a small team, whenever possible you will always see the same vet. We also endeavour to have both a male and female vet available should you or your pet have a preference. To provide this superior service we ask that whenever possible you please phone to make an appointment to see the vet.
